GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

• Shake the bottle before use because some of the product can settle.
• The bottles are provided with a spray-head with an adjustable nozzle.
• Terrycloth should be used to apply  the products ideally a 9" square of white terrycloth if possible. The thickness of the rag is important - it must be able to absorb the dirt embedded in the emulsion to avoid scratching. In our experience, this is the ideal solution as far as ease of use, economy and efficiency are concerned. White is perfect because the user can see the effect produced by the product and the quantity of dirt which has been removed. To wash a vehicle completely, you will need several terrycloth's (they are washable), a supple brush for fabric, a harder brush for the mats and carpets, a sponge, and a ½" & 1½ " paint brush for detailed work on air vents and hard to reach places.
• As far as exterior cleaning is concerned, it is better to apply the products on a dry vehicle. If it's damp it will not effect the products effectiveness, but if the car has just been soaked by a shower, it is better to remove most of the water gently by mopping the excess water using a terrycloth.
• If the body of the car is hot, let the car to cool down in the shade before applying your products. If the bonnet/hood is hot from the engine, then start to apply the products on the roof first then work from the back making your way down both sides to the front wing leaving the bonnet till last. Then repeat the process this time removing the Cristalcar.
• 95% of the dirt on the exterior of the car can be removed using Cristalcar. It is impossible though for one product to remove every kind of dirt, this is why it is important to inspect the car first for possible resistive marks such as  insects, tar or resin spots etc. these must first be removed using Insect Remover 8, or Tar and Resin Cleaner 5. These products offer three different types of complementary cleaning solutions: Cristalcar 1, cleans and has a light polishing effect and acts as a scratch eraser ; The Insect Remover 8, removes grease and large dirt patches including mud acting as a wetting agent & the Tar and Resin Cleaner 5, dissolves the really difficult marks.
• Any vehicle, whatever its shape or size, can be cleaned without water. If we take for example a car with a thick layer of dry mud, wet the mud using the Insects Remover - Exterior Cleaner 8, to wet it and to degrease it. Wipe off most of the dirt with a rag or sponge without rubbing it against the paint. Spray Cristalcar on the remaining thin layer to fully wet it and let the product act so that the protective wax seal can settle on the paint. Once the product is dry, remove it with a rag.
• As a general principle and in most cases, spraying a biggest quantity of Cristalcar and letting it to take effect is enough to wash the dirtier parts of the car.
• It preferable to work from bottom up when using cleaning products such as exterior cleaner, interior cleaner, wheels/rims cleaner and/or to spread it uniformly and immediately with a rag to avoid possible sagging effect caused by the difference of density of the applied product.
• Do not use a spray to apply the Polish. If a spray head was delivered with your Polish, just use it as a spare part or a closure.
